APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are available from 08:00 – 12:10 and 14:30 – 18:20 by telephoning 02920 629601/02920 357601

We offer a range of appointment types for different health needs.

If you are between the ages of 16 – 74 and have not been seen within the past 3 years and book an appointment, the clinician may ask for extra information to update your medical records.

Routine Appointments

Routine appointments are available to book up to four weeks in advance, they are 10 minutes long and can be booked with your preferred Doctor.

Same day Appointments

Same day appointments are available each day for problems that cannot wait for either a routine or 72-hour appointment.

Telephone appointments

Telephone appointments are available to book in advance as an alternative to a face-to-face appointment. Please note that you will always be asked to attend the surgery for an examination if deemed necessary.

Online appointments

Online appointments can be booked 24 hours a day by using the My Health online link https://myhealthonline-emisweb.wales.nhs.uk/languages?returnurl=/ (or the Appointment booking/cancelling icon on this page).  It is secure and safe for both the practice and patients.  Patients accessing this facility will do so via a secure server and at no time can they view the actual practice system.

If you are interested in using this service, please contact reception to arrange. You will need to provide one piece of identification, such as driving licence, passport, credit card etc. due to the nature of the information being accessed. We will activate your medical records and issue a document with the necessary pin numbers and codes. Please be aware that the activation codes are only live for up to 24 hours before this process must be repeated.

Appointment guidance

  • Please make sure you book in on arrival by using the automated check in where possible (to save queuing) or with reception, so that the clinician is aware you have arrived and are waiting.
  • Please note that, if you are late arriving (up to 10 minutes), patients who are on time will go in to see the clinician before you.
  • If you are later than 10 minutes for your appointment, the clinician may not be able to see you that day.
  • Patients failing to keep their appointments and not informing the surgery can cause problems and waste valuable appointment time. (DNA’s)
