Car park spaces have been designated for our patients with disabilities. A ramp is in position for wheelchair access. One of the toilets is suitable for patients in wheelchairs. The reception desk has a ‘side window’ positioned low enough to be used by patients using wheelchairs. Patients that need further assistance may telephone the Reception Desk from the car park and will be helped into the building. Should patients experience any difficulties accessing the building, or services, the receptionist should be informed.
We use a TV calling system for notifying patients that the clinicians are ready for them. The TV screen turns bright yellow; calls out the patient’s name, the clinicians name and which room you are to go to. The TV screen shows this in written text form as well. Please let the receptionists know if you need help, or wish to use our portable Loop system.
A copy of the practice booklet is available in a larger print, and also in audio format should you wish to request a copy please speak to reception and this can be arranged.
