Whitchurch Medical Centre are looking to recruit a secretary to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG). The PPG members are all volunteers and the overall aim of our group [PPG] is to develop a positive and constructive relationship between patients, the Practice, and the community it serves, ensuring the practice remains accountable and responsive to all its patients’ needs.
The Secretary can be responsible for many specific tasks, some of which will be regular practical administrative duties. These can include:
- dealing with correspondence
- preparing agendas for meetings (in consultation with the Chair)
- taking the action points from meetings and ensuring back-up information is available where required.
PPG meetings are held every other month on a Tuesday 6.30 to 7.30pm.
